All You Need to Know About Getting Discount Tents
Where can you get tents really cheap?
i was looking for a good backpacking tent that is not too expensive for example coleman avior x2 or vango banshee 200 and i was wondering were you can get backpacking tents really cheap
Look for a tent that is last year’s model. Best month to buy a tent would be in April. Don’t buy a tent online unless you know what it looks like in the store, have tried to assemble it and sat inside it, because when manufactures say 2 person they mean one and when they say 3 person they mean 2 etc. You also don’t want a tent that you all of sudden found out is a pain to put together, because when it’s starting to pour you don’t want to be trying to put together a tent that just won’t go. Hope that helps

Go to 2nd hand shops that sell outdoor equipment. I guess if that’s too hard to find, try internet sites like ebay, amazon etc.

Some of the equipment rental places like REI sell off the used gear, check them out very carefully though since used means just that. Also some of the big stores ie sport chalet have returned items for discounted prices.
ebay is not always reliable as you can’t check out the gear before you buy. Sometimes paying a little more will get you that assurance.
